So windows seems to be running fine so far on the second reinstall, and I was able to format my HDD. Was on RAW not NTFS. Hopefully the format of the HDD works fine and I don't need to reinstall anytime soon.
Always format your hard drive with the NTFS filing system, because Fat32 doesn\'t support large size files, which can cause you to run into conflicts when your trying to store large files. Also, NTFS in general is more compatible with Windows 7. glad you got it going. :)

I formatted it when I installed my SSD. Also reformatted for OS X, then reformatted again for Windows 8.1 after I wrote over OS X. Shouldn\'t have been an issue.
I use malwareybytes too, and I pay for pro version, best anti malware/spyware protection around. But Kaspersky internet security is the best anti virus plus firewall around. Mcafee is only good for one thing, to be burned to make me warm during the winter ;)

Sometimes HD\'s come pre-formatted, other times not, I don\'t think your HD was properly formatted from the beginning.

Last thing I recommend is running a anti virus scan, use a good program like Kaspersky, not that shitty mcafee. ;)
Yeah, I don\'t use McAfee to begin with. I use malewarebytes mainly but I will look into Kaspersky. Thanks girl. :)
