Computer problems
SO my computer died on Monday. I got a new one, but it has Windows 8 and I just can't work half the stuff on it. Yesterday my son downloaded Firefox instead of internet explorer and this is the first time I have been able to log in all week. I still can't print from my email or a web page as the computer does not recognize my printer as a printer . It is an "unspecified device".
I don't know why anyone would be excited about a new computer. Transferring files, downloading programs and apps, trying to find buttons you used to use that aren't there anymore...installing new hardware. Ugh. I hate it all.
For those of you who sent me hugs and notes this week thank you so much. I am sorry I haven't responded to journal entries and such. Hopefully using Firefox is going to get me back online. Hugs to all.

good luck with the new computer ...we got a new computer and I can\'t even use it any more I just use my I pad ....lol.....take care ..God bless .....when we first had it it mesed up and the computer dident work my iPad dident work and the TV dident work my h tried everything he knew to fix it finaly he thought he would have to take it in again ...but our granddaughter came over she was 8 and she told her popa to give her the controls and she said he just needed to put this certin pas ward in .....and she put it in and everything worked ....we couldent belive it ...it took her not even 5 minits to fix everything and my h had been working on it for a month and was going to take it in ....so we get out grand kids to look at our computers befor we bring them in ..lol... I hope you have luck with the 8.. I was told to stay clear of it but everyone is different. If you can get it changed out, I hope you can. It sounds like you are getting the hang of it though. Hugs GB
