Complications keep piling upgetting a little tiring!

First the Strep B stuff, then the High Blood Pressure, now Complete Placenta Privia! Once again I back with the every time I go to the doctor’s offices I come out with mixed message…”You need to keep down your stress BUT….blahblah”! Good news baby has all it’s “stuff” in the right place, 10 fingers 10 toes etc, we didn’t even get a glimpse of the sex, not lone little hint, NOTHING! Although now I have more ultrasounds in my future so I’ll get another chance or two, not quite the way I would want them, but I have to find those silver-linings. I’m certainly not losing sight of how lucky and grateful I am to have this chance but it’s not quite what I was expecting. Foolish of me to think that because I went through so much to get there that it would be all sunshine and roses for the 40 weeks.  So what now, I have yet another appointment with OB today, to discuss and check the blood pressure which I’m sure if just peachy – HA….and also now the privia. I’m on “pelvic restrictions” which means no heavy lifting (apparently laundry baskets and up) and no intercourse or internal exams. DH took that part much better then I thought, well I didn’t expect him to be a jerk but he didn’t so much a blink, just a “ok” and then comforted me as I cried, “we have years for that! What’s important it you and our baby”. I’m thinking I should resolve myself to the fact that it is most likely to be a scheduled c-section and that going full-term is not going to happen. I’m ok with those but what’s getting to me is that I see my ability to stay out the bed-rest moving further away. I kinda need to work as long as possible for the money but also I’d rather the time with the baby. So that’s really starting to concern me, but then concern equals stress which is bad! Gosh this all sounds so familiar.
