Coming to terms

Okay, it ha been 7 days to the minute that I was rolled downstairs for my pacemaker procedure.
I am still struggling to wrap my head around it and to not break down. I know that it is for my own good and I know it is to help. I also know plenty of people that will tell me to get over it and that it isn't a big deal. However, I am still feeling unsettled. I am only 40 years old and it  is a big deal to me
