Coming In for a Landing

It's 9:38 a.m. and we should hit the road in a few minutes.  We're going to get our third set of embryos.  Maybe it will work this time, but I really can't imagine that.  James is excited, but I'm kind-of blah.  I have a strong hunch that this is a coping mechanism.  I don't want to get attached to the little guys and have them leave again.  Today we'll get a picture to add to the two we already have: embryos 1 and 2, and embryos 3 and 4.  Welcome 5 and 6. There is a sense of festivity in the air today, since it's James's birthday.  I made him breakfast in bed and made him open two of his presents.  He wanted to draw the fun out over the day, but since I'll be on bed rest, I want to be available for hopping around in excitement.  Maybe, despite the bedrest, the embryos will sense the special atmosphere and give a second thought to staying.
