Coming Down

I started coming down from that high last night. I took 3mg of klonopin, 2mg risperdal and 300mg trazadone (pretty much enough to tranq an elephant) and finally fell over and slept. I got up today and ran some errands, then came home and lay in bed till it was time to make dinner. I made dinner (took chicken out of package, put BBQ sauce on it and put it in oven) and went to go lie down again. I had trouble staying awake while watching TV with Geo, but I'm half awake/half asleep now. I'm not feeling depressed, I just have no energy. I started back on my birth control today (the best mood stabilizer for me so hopefully things should even out in a couple days by the time my friend Jon gets here. I'm tired, so I'm just going to keep this short.
Food: I don't know what I had for breakfast, had a french dip combo at Arby's, half an apple and some eggs for snacks, regular dinner and half a coffee cup of ice cream. That's how much ice cream I had last night too for anyone who was wondering. Just about 8 ounces or so.
One of my friends did a top ten goal list or things that they want to be happy, I'm going to do that soon, just need to sleep some more.

Hey Larissa - sorry you are having to take so many meds to get some sleep. That must be frustrating.

I worry that your diet consists of a lot of sugar and processed foods (which are filled with sugar)- processed sugar can lead to health complications - and lack of energy too.
Perhaps you might want to just look at your sugar intake. I know it sounds silly, but I realised that when I ate sugar (either syrup on pancakes or some in my coffee) that I would have a crash about 30 minutes after and suddenly be very thirsty.

Just a thought!

Looking forward to seeing your top ten list.

Hey there CL :)

Thanks for the concern about sugar. My buddy and I have been talking about high fructose corn syrup and how to avoid it. HFCS is in a lot of things that I didn\'t realize, so I\'m going to try and cut it out of my diet. I normally eat some processed food, but I cook a lot myself. I cook dinner every night- baked chicken normally with some seasoning or BBQ sauce.

Thanks for looking out for me and my foods! I post what I eat here not only to remind myself, but so others can help me :)

Oh I am so glad that you cook for yourself a lot! That makes all the difference. I had a friend who only ate microwave meals for 2 years and she got so sick!!
That HFCS is everywhere, isn\'t it??? How are they allowed to do that??
