Columbus Day
Thank goodness for the Columbus Day holiday... seems like the holidays always fall when you need them the most. I was pretty productive today too. Nick and I FINALLY placed the order for Austin's stone. It has been a long process, but its finally done and should be here the first week of November and installed by the second week. Then we went to one of the local Amish farms (yes, we have Amish where I live) and ordered a console curio cabinet to display Austin memorabilia for our living room. I can't wait for it to be done! Amish furniture is so beautiful... and expensive, but I wanted something nice, something that will stay in our family for generations and that will always hold special items to remind our family of Austin and what a very special baby he is. The cabinet should be done just in time for Christmas/Austin's birthday.I also had my first good dream about Austin last night. Up until last night, all my dreams about him had been bad, usually about the funeral. But last night he was alive and happy. We were playing together, laughing and smiling, and he was the age he would be now, almost 10 months. The funny thing is that all through the dream, I knew it was just a dream and when I woke up right when the dream ended, I had a smile on my face and felt peaceful. I am so thankful to have had that dream, it came when I needed it - thank you Austin.
