Colonoscopy results

I had my colonoscopy done this afternoon. The prep was horrendous but all I remember of the procedure itself is seeing a lot of red on the monitor. The next thing I remember is being back in my cubicle with an oxygen mask. A nurse came to take blood for blood tests. Another nurse took out my iv. The doctor said that he had found a lesion in my colon. That he had taken many biopsies so I would experience bleeding. That if it became excessive or I felt weak to go to the ER. He said it would take two weeks to get back the biopsy results back from pathology. He also ordered an abdominal ct and a chest ct with contrast. Since I have allergy to contrast dye he said to take predinsone the day before my scan. Also to take more prednisone and a benadryl the day of the scan. He said that I would see him in his office at some point too.

I'm back home and experiencing lots of rectal bleeding and I feel sore. Also having some abdominal cramping. I'm eating pizza which is nice since I have been starving!
