Cold......brrrrr!

- 18 below zero when I woke up this morning.  Now that the sun has arisen,  it's a little above zero now.

So Agree Bob~~~I feel sad when I see little kids with phones, switches in their hands, rather than their hands digging in the dirt or creating masterpieces<3

Free from the demands of adults too. Feel so sorry for those poor kids. Childhood stolen Bob, it is cold here too. Going to be cold for the next few days.

Hi Bob, lots of great fun days, when we were kids :) my friends and i use too play football, almost all day, and when it got dark in the evenings, the street lights became our light to continue to playing for a little while more :) We hope you all are keeping warm, very wintery cold weather. We love to have some hot teas, and hot chocolate during winter time. Sending lots of love, and our warmest wishes ,from us all :)

It's like in the 30's at night and in the morning. To me that's cold. I couldn't imagine 7 or 16 degrees.

It sounds a lot like my childhood in Burnley in the north of England in the 1950s. Thanks for posting, Bob.

5 degrees here! Just put water out for the birds at the feeder.
My granddaughter has been calling me to take her and her two friends out. My rule is phones off and they’ve been ok with it.

Both yesterday and today it was 8° when I woke up but with the windchill it was about -2° but at least we will go up to 22° today but unfortunately no sun so the snow isn’t melting that we got the other day.

That definitely sounds like my childhood in the 60s early 70s, those were the days for sure!

It is warming up a bit to upper 40's here today but 29 tonight. Not as terrible. Yesterday I had a doctor appointment early and it was 25 degrees. We did not get snow thank goodness but it is so amazing that New Orleans and Houston got so much and are so cold.

Yes it was a great thing. My youngest is 20 and all my 3 kids experienced these things as well.

These were my young years as well

Back then we had wicked snow storms but with global warming it's gotten so much lighter

Hate global warming but I have to say these old bones can do with the snow

It's pretty chilly in Toronto right now...brrr
