Coins On My Eyes!!!

A perfect day at the beach!  Yesterday hubby and I went to the Jersey Shore and had a blast.  I couldn't find a bathing suit top to fit, so I squished into an old suit, but had to move real careful like, cause the girls were gonna pop out. I gained weight, then lost most of it, but still too big on top for my old suits, so I got to lay on the sand and work my tan, while Steve enjoyed himself in the sea.  So here I am laying on my back, taking in some rays, listening to my music.  But I wanna sun my face, take off sunglasses.  My eyes start tearing and running, so I think, "what do I have to cover my eyes", and the old western movies spring to mind.  Coins!!!  So for almost an hour I'm laying on the crowded beach sunning, when Steve comes back and finds me laying on my back, flat, with quarters on my eyes, and thought "she looks dead".  I guess he saw the old western movies too where they put coins on the dead person's eyes. He thought it was hysterical.  Then we walked amid the thousands and thousand for four hours.  My legs never hurt.  My legs never gave out.  And my legs never turned to jelly or lead.  This walking that I am doing every morning is working.  I am getting so much stronger, happier, and atlas my cup is half full again.

We are finishing our second week siding our house. The house looks really good, I look like hell. I\'m pushing myself far past my limits, and some of the days I am running completely on empty. I am so tired, tired, tired. It does feel great that I can be there for Steve to help him. I know he appreciates, and recognizes my contribution. I want to help because it is a huge project and don\'t want to leave him by himself. I know that he will continue without me, which means that he\'ll work all day, and work all night. I\'m not able to walk during the day now. I only walked two mornings last week and not at all this week. I\'m afraid if I try to walk, I\'ll have absolutely nothing to work with at night. I am still gaining weight (147now) because we eat very late now. Also because I have been drinking extra soda for the caffeine. The project will be done in a couple of weeks, but by then I\'m afraid that I will be fat, so today I drank only a little amount of soda. Without the caffeine and sugar I am like \"dead woman walking\". I have soreness, pain in my neck and headaches, but nothing near the amount of pain I had before when I was drinking diet soda(aspartame). I am so extremely sure now that aspartame was a huge culprit with all the really bad pain I have been having for years.I I wish I could also find out what is causing the extreme tiredness and foggy head. In the meantime me and Steve are getting along great and have become reliant partners on this job. Our friendship has deepened. But I think he is also getting tired the last few days. I told him today \"Please do not look at me and see ugly, but see someone who is working her butt off\". He said that I don\'t look ugly, he\'s lying or crazy, \'cause I\'m drained and look it. I guess it would help if I added a little makeup, but who has the energy for that. I\'m only going out to get covered with dirt, sweat, bugs, and falling debris. So I really hope he understands. He is not shallow.
