Clomid is the devil. THE DEVIL!

Really, that's all I have to say. Clomid is the devil, but it's the devil I'm getting to know, and perhaps it'll dish me some sympathy and deliver the goods as prescribed. Hot flashes and insomnia, headaches and mood swings. There isn't enough tissu in this house! We found out yesterday that my IF is due to ovaries who are 10 years ahead of me. I'm basically on a faster track to menopauseland than originally anticipated. I'm 34, but my hormones and ultrasound results say otherwise. I'm more like 42-44 in my internal lady bit area. Then there's DH. His SAs have been up and down. Turns out that stress *does* play a really important role. He's a ball o' stress, ... family issues, and not all from our own little IF family. So basically, it's  taking a toll on his lil' guys, and I wish I could take that away for him. I wish I could fix it. But...Prognosis? No baby for us without help. Three courses of Clomid and IUI, then we stop... 'cause IVF is something we don't think we can handle, financially and emotionally, so hopefully we don't have to go there 'cause hopefully the devi... I mean Clomid.... has teamed up with IUI, and hopefully they work. Please God. This feels soooo horribly unfair. Sooo much hurt and so many dreams I don't want to dream anymore, and yet I can't let them go. Can't stop crying, and I don't know if it's my frustration with the situation, or just the devil talking. I want to stay positive, not just for me and DH, but so I can be supportive of others who need it. I don't think I have it in me during this particular evening.
Peace, Love, and Positive Results. I hope.

And by the devil, I always mean Clomid. If the devil was talking to me, I don\'t think I\'d post about it... I think I\'d scream and call a therapist or something.

I\'m sorry to hear about all that. What bad timing to find out that news while on Clomid. I took 3 months of clomid last fall and I can still remember the hot flashes, cramps, insomnia and overall craziness. Hang in there as it works for a lot of people. I hope tomorrow is better.
Also, one of my DH\'s SA came back showing abnormal morphology and it was because he had the flu because the next few were fine, as were past ones. So it is true that sickness and stress can play a big part in all that.
Hugs!!!

I hope the shitty side effects are all worth it. Fingers crossed for you girl!!
And I\'m glad if the devil actually talked to you that you would take alternate steps than writing a journal about it :)

Oh man, I\'ve been so wrapped in my own depression....I\'m sorry it took me 10 days to see this. First, I will keep my fingers crossed that the treatment works. Second,I can relate to what you are saying about your husband and family stressing him out, because I\'m the same way. But there comes a point when you gave to step back, and take care of yourselves. He will find that point. Sending you lots of hugs!
