Cleaning house....life is good
I saw my Hep Dr. Wed. and she told me that I was in good shape. My liver enzymes are dropping like they should be. They were (AST) 81, and (ALT) 128. Now they are (AST) 48, and (ALT) 57. My cholesterol is a little high but still manageable and my diabetes is under control. Best of all, , , the virus is STILL UNDETECTABLE ! ! !
She told me that my treatment has officially ended. I have no need to see her anymore. I've never had a "BREAK-UP" feel better ! !
So today I gathered up all the paperwork, sharps containers, medical travel containers, appointment reminders, and most of all, , , the bad memories, and disposed of them. AAAaaaahhhh, , life is good ! !
Now I'm coming back out of the tx "cocoon" and starting to expand my horizons with new friends and just being more social.
It's kinda funny, I never thought I'd make it to retirement age. Now at 54 I'm starting to make financial plans. What a welcome headache L.O.L.!
So that's where I'm at today, taking in the sunshine, lost in deep thoughts, and just enjoying how far I've come.

Just an update to this...Never count your chickens before they hatch. I relapsed in June of that year. As of today 9/16/12 I have not been able to find a tx.
