Clean Scan

Just went for my six year scan since my colon cancer metastasized to my liver a year and a half after my initial colon cancer surgery.  Everything was clear.  I am both happy and feeling guilty and wonder why me?  My husband had a recent prostatectomy (robotic at City of Hope).  His urologist knew his PSA was going up for nine years but each time they did a biopsy (using 12 to 14 needles) it came back negative & he had 4 biopsies over the past 9 years.  Finally, they found the cancer with the fifth biopsy.  Found out this is NOT unusual when we went to City of Hope.  So for all of you men out there, if your PSA level increases be aware that they can miss the cancer with the biopsy.
