Church Tonight Was Incredible

I enjoy spending time at church and with my brothers and sisters there, I feel connected and part of something strong and special. The Preacher was talking about Jesus, and how He said to cast our burdens on him, that he will bear the burdens of illness, of sin, of brken hearts, and because of this we are free to live our lives without the guilt and worry of being lost. And he also stressedd how important it is to pray, daily, often, all the time, as God will answer all his children's prayers. It was all very inspiring to me.

Of course I brought my guitar with me, and after the service, I plugged it in, and for the first time in my life, played music in the big house, HIS house. It was magnificent, it sounded so great, it felt so great, my friends came back in from outside to hear, its was glorious to me. I can't wait until we get our praise and worship band going, we will practice this week together for the first time.

When I had to leave, (the singers needed to practice), I went to a couples house, as their young daughter, maybe 7 or 8, wanted a guitar lesson. So I showed her a few easy things, told her what to practice, and taught her to tell anyone asking her what she is doing when holding a guitar, to answer 'Jammin'. So just a great night for me.
