I've known about Chumplady for a while, but knew she ran an anti-cheating site and thought it would be a lot of vindictive, victimized BSs, a la the Infidelity board here. Today, I clicked on a link to a Chumplady article today from another blog.
OMG, CHUMPLADY ROCKS! This article is really f-ing awesome. I've been reading the comments for a half-hour and dying of laughter. They've really cheered me up from the nasty and unnecessary verbal barrage I got last night from my husband.
Warning: if you're a fan of Dr. Keith Ablow you probably won't enjoy it.

Maybe because both CL and I are non-sentimental realists and we both share the opinion that love is an action, not a verb. And also because I want out of being with my jerk H, and CL and the female commenters on her article are really inspiring to a girl struggling to leave.

On the subject of the infidelity board.
I wonder how helpful the infidelity board is for BS\'s who want to reconcile.
I know the infidelity board is SUPER SATURATED with BS opinions that cheaters will never ever change and it is ALWAYS BEST just to D the CS.
I cant imagine how a BS frequent user on the infidelity , who wants to R, not get ADVERSELY affected by all the NEGATIVITY .
All those charming BSs over at Infidelity. As JD memorably once said, you can see what a joy it must be to be married to them. Lol. But there are quite a number of them, like Pony, who have remained married. Thank god Sarah doesn\'t seem to be hanging about anymore.
Of course you are right though, Desert, most of them do bristle with negativity. I wonder how many of them actually do get divorced, I bet a bunch of them just carry on with their marriages while playing the eternal betrayed victim. It\'s not something that is gotten over quickly, that\'s for sure.
I can\'t imagine being married to most of them.

There is a \'rebuilding marriage after infidelity\' board that the graduates of infidelity seem to hang out at. It\'s actually a pretty good board and productive. I read it often.
As for Sarah, I\'m not so certain she isn\'t still around.
I am on another site where there is one particular guy who stayed with his wife after she had an affair quite a while back. Everything he posts is angry, and he basically leaves it up to his wife to continue doing all the work to rebuild the marriage. He says he has not changed a bit but that she wants him now. I don\'t say it, but he is at huge risk of her cheating again with that arrangement.
Shore, I\'ve never been to Rebuilding Marriage, I will have to check it out. Sarah/whatever she calls herself today, ugh....
Graving, I agree that any BS who believes they can hold onto that anger for the rest of their marriage, will be left with no marriage before long.
