chs is getting divorced//neighbor says man matching rg's descriptionwas at my house trying the doors

if there is a holiday, (celebrated usa way) then there will be drama as all the crap comes out when people are together.
chs who got married this passed february, is getting divorced.   her mother or uncle is getting custody of her twins who are only a few months old,  without visitation of the father or father's family.  this is a surprise because chs knows his family well for about 3 years.

my uncle's wife is doing the i told you so thing, because both are in college and super young.  i know a lot of people from my own generation who did stuff like this, married spontaneously and then divorced, but usually without kids.  makes me wonder if the kids hear us laughing about this one and that one, married one week, or one month... and then saying, yes, they have been married...but not really...
if hearing all the gunk has an effect?   i said that to chs but didn't get a reaction yet.  doesn't matter WHY anyway.  its weird because we have over a hundred years of people getting divorced and multiple marriages in our extended family, and though i know more than 50 percent divorce (80 percent if they are under the age of 30), it still makes me wonder if we are trained to treat the whole thing lightly from an early age - like stand up on your own two feet and stop being silly.  lol.  like did she do that as one more experience and now that is done and onto something else?

my neighbor claims that a very tall man went into the house and was trying all the different doors of the house - both floors.  i hate to point fingers, but it matches the description of rg.  plus k claims rg has been asking a lot of questions about where i live and urging k to go there.  he also questioned my neighbor if he knew the address of our house up north.  rg was the one harrassing me last year to meet his "friends" south of here who do animal rescue.  those people are also the same ones who harassed the people next door to br last year and broke into our house on the mainland several times and then here at the beach as well.  so its been going on for over ten years.
i said this to jc and he says, no its been going on for 13 years, because they are the same ones who went after his younger sister in front of his house 13 years ago (his sister was 14 at the time) when i first got back to florida from up north in phili, and was living at jc's house.   they are also the same people who broke into our house on the beach 12 years ago, which is when summer and her brother richard disappeared from the house.   we caught them INSIDE the house, there is no "question" with something like that.  just like them trying to pull jc's 14 year old sister into their car, there is no "question" about what is going on.  (she BIT the woman and she was screaming like a banchee, good for you!  that is how she got away.  we were all like good job, hope the bite gets infected on the woman and she dies.  seriously.   i despise criminals.

it also means those people are a bunch of "old lady" thugs just like the cops said originally.  they claim rg approached them at petsmart and offered all these addresses to them (i've never given him ANY of my addresses - which is grotesque anyway, who the hell gives out other people's addresses to total strangers or anyone else without the other person's permission.  try getting a miss manners book).

i ran this passed k and he said they are telling the truth about rg approaching them at petsmart.   but the rest is them homeinvading and trying to get at people's money.  rg had told k he didn't realize they were criminals and would try to get k's money information.  if that is true, why is rg now breaking into people's homes?  the whole thing is obscene.
the neighbors at the apartment complex claim those same people offered to pay money to go into their apartment and use binoculars to look into the windows of the other houses.  i'm thinking to myself, you let people into your apartment to DO something like that?  are you a prostitute as well, like money is money, are you totally nuts?!  does that mean they are looking at my house?  that is a peeping tom and a stalker which are felonies, six years in prison for each felony, and yes i'll press charges.   it can't be let go.  its too many years.  and way too weird.   my neighbor claims that the man offered him $100 to let him into my house with a spare key and he called the police.  wth?  the man's logic is, if there is a spare key then he can go into the house.  hmmmm 75 percent of the people out there have spare keys hidden outside of their houses, generally under the mat or on a windowsill.  so by his logic, alllll of those houses can be entered by the general public.  what a jerk.  this is like the asshole that we caught on the swing in our yard, who worked for the humane society.  her logic was that since the gate is closed but not key-locked than anyone should be allowed to sit in other people's yards and use their swings.  another thug.

i heard all of this kind of crap about those same people (and its ALWAYS the same bunch of people) ten years ago and figured it must be an exageration.  now i think what the police said back then, they are thieves posing as rescuers to gain access to info and nothing more.  creepy as all hell.

*hugs* If you can, change your locks. There\'s no telling what this guy will do. It\'s creepy and needs to stop. I would call the cops if I was you.

That really is creepy 38!! You have protect yourself in some additional ways. Can\'t think of what to suggest, not being there and all, but it sure makes my arm hairs stand up!!

As far as your marriage theory goes. I don\'t think any young people take marriage seriously anymore. If it doesn\'t work out, you just dump the person and move on. In MY generation, this was much less prevalent! We really tried to keep it together, did the whole counseling thing....whatever. And in my parent\'s generation. divorce was simply not an option.

We live in a different world. I don\'t like it much! You can\'t trust anybody, no moral values are in place anymore, and it isn\'t safe to send your kids off to school! Think maybe we went off track somewhere?????

Warm hugs. We\'re going up into the sixties today!! ox

Geez, this is a big mess. Please protect yourself no matter what!!! Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with DarlaC, young people today don\'t take marriage or any relationship seriously. They do not get that it is ALOT of work but worthwhile work I might add. When I was growing up, divorce was unheard of nor an option. I trust very few people, being burned (not talking about any of my relationships here~ people who claimed to be my friends) will do that one to you!

Hoping you have a great day!!

in the 70\'s almost everyone i knew, more than half, the parents were divorced. if the parents were together, it was generally a worse situation and the kids would have been better off in a more peaceful environment. they are trying to get rid of marriage completely in brazil, because they claim no person should own another person.

probably true. there is another option, where all people would be permitted to incorporate and then dissolve the corporation. which makes a lot of sense.

the kids claim that because she has a lot of younger siblings (she is the oldest) she discovered she doesn\'t have a need to do the raising babies thing (i was waiting for her to say at this point in her life, but she didn\'t). all i feel is guilt because i keep wondering, how much is from us talking so lightly about it all and the rest....always surprises.
