Christmas Gifts
Well folks, as many of you know I am getting ready for a trip of a lifetime. I will be spending the holidays with a friend I met earlier this year. I want to make it an old fashion Christmas... and for me that means a home made gift. I haven't done this for quite a few years.
I have made a hope chest for a grandchild, a jewelry box for a step-daughter, shadow boxes for the ex... the list goes on. I once created a waterfall and an accompanying poem that describe the waterfall.
But this one is very different. I am leaving on this vacation on December 15 and I have been working on it a couple of hours every night and I'm not sure if I can get it done. You see what I am making is...... HA.... thought you'd get me didn't ya?
Nope... I can't say because the person who will be getting this gift will also be reading this so I'm not going to say. Maybe I just like teasing her
But if I am not around much this is why... this is a one of a kind type of gift and it is very slow and deliberate work... so keep me in your prayers will ya... that I can get it done...

Well your friend sure is one lucky person. I think the best gifts in the world are the one\'s that have been crafted with one\'s imagination and hands. It makes the recipient of the gift feel special and unique! I shall wait patiently to hear what it is:)
