christ, i hate sundays !

My poor 19 year old cat on his last lap; last night another one of my hillbilly teeth on their last lap.  And, today's sunday....which reminds me of my drunken idiot dad, and all his religious nonsense, inbetween his boozing, wasting money, and ignoring me.
last night even thought of the planet Neptune---and how its 17, SEVENTEEN, times the size of earth, with moses, jesus, and god never knowing that the planet Neptune existed.  There's Neptune, 17 times the size of earth---and then there's all the insignicant stuff that goes on on earth.
Insignificant me biking 2 miles to walmart today, unshaven, and past some churches; at least have the freedom not to care about such stuff....though, maybe it feels good to bike past churches on a sunday morning, with me looking sloppy.
Olde me is gonna later listen to the youthful punk song, "killing for jesus", though it probably won't help.  I probably first heard that song on a college radio station.
My drunken idiot dad once angrily said how: "the first thing they teach you in college is that there is no god!"  That, and his wasting his money at bars, was probably why he never encouraged me to go to college.  I never even finished high school----though I'm now an atheist.
My drunken crazy parents also didn't encourage me to have a girlfriend---though getting drunk was ok.
My church-going idiot dad knew so much---and wound up killing himself in 1982.  My evil mom died in a hospital in 2001, after 2 months of operations.  So, maybe divine justice was involved with both.
With the scumbag crazy hateful parents I had, I should have became an atheist in my teens, but better late than never.

Wow. It\'s painful to me to read that. Sorry I can\'t help with the atheist part - but if it makes you feel any better I do admit most \"Christians\" are complete hypocrites. I think that the best revenge you could possible have on your parents is to live a long and HAPPY life. That would REALLY piss them off! ;) Keep pushing - I\'m cheering for you

Wow I thought I was the only one who dislikes Sundays. I don\'t hate them but I don\'t like them. To me it has a kind of heaviness to it. I too don\'t have good connections to it. We had to go to church when I lived at home and it was ridiculous. My parents were so full of sh*t and put on their charade of us being a nice happy family. We would get home and it would be yelling and screaming. My home was so tense. I could not relax. I am still a jumpy person. I am Working on that.
