boring day. very hot out. 91 degrees, perfect for swimming, but c's kid hot herpes from a public pool lately, on his mouth and there is bacteria in the ocean at the minute. makes you hesitate. nothing going on. went to a sale and picked up a bunch of stuff at dollar tree. was supposed to meet j for coffee and i didn't get there.
headed to the marina. screened some people over the phone for jobs. i said this to e and she cracked up. they are having the same problem with people as we are. even if they get people, the people leave because too much is expected of them for too little money. what a mess it all is. they reallllly need to raise what everyone is making OR lower the prices of goods, because people can't live the way they are right now. wanted to go to one of those tasters today and didn't even get to that. wth?

I\'m sorry you can\'t go swimming... I love going to the pool... I never knew you could get herpes from a pool. I should be more careful.
So many times those who work the hardest get paid the less. It is hard to stay at a job that once you pay your rent and a bill you cant afford gas or bus fair and food.
it wasn\'t the pool. he said the kid that was standing in front of his kid had it, and touched the railing. then his son touched the railing. and i guess touched his mouth?
i used to think the chlorine kills all bacteria, but i know i got sick from a pool in the keys in 2006, or 2005, so guess not too safe.

That\'s really scary about the pool. I never thought about it. It seems like everyone has always been more afraid of a Hot Tub. I guess we should always be mindful of what we do when so many people are involved using the same things.

true. plus even if chlorine does kill all bacteria, they aren\'t going to put that LEVEL of chlorine in a swimming pool where people are swimming. it would only be the chlorine that is pure or the level of chlorine in cleaning supplies.
