Chiro visit

I saw the chiropractor today, after months of not going due to aquatherapy seesions. It was nice; I had forgotten how good the massages, A-STIM machine and heat on my back felt. Well, the massage was kinda painful, but overall it did loosen me up. They did do an ultrasound on my mid back, and that was nice too. I felt looser, more relaxed.
The doc wants me to come every week for treatment. She said there was improvement and I wasn't as tight and spasm-y as I was when I first started going to her. I didn't tell her I had begun taking gabapentin every other night. The dosage right now is so low (100mg) I am not even sure it is doing anything for me other than making me feel drowsy/dizzy once it kicks in. And I felt my skin tingling too.
I hate taking anything at all on a regular basis, but if it will give me some quality of life back then I guess I can at least try it.
Going slowly like this might be the best thing for me. I would hate to take the normal dose the rheumy wants me to get to, which is two tabs, three times a day. I don't think I could possibly function on that, without starting out low and slow!
But while I am sleepy and have my aches and spasms, I am ok. And that is what matters right now.
