Chinese tiger mom book - Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother

In a way I am glad that the "Chinese Tiger Mom" way to raise kids in an abusive way have been exposed!  As a Chinese myself being brought up that way with daily beating in the name of "discipline" us to become successful, I can tell you it makes me sick to my stomach.  It made me sick before, and I am still sick now.  After I read her self-righteous response to interviews talking about the book, it brings sadness, anger and tears to my eyes on all the things I went through during my childhood.
