Dr. Paul Di Giovine is a specialist plastic surgeon with a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He graduated from Flinders University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, after completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours at The University of Melbourne. This experience has been broadened by overseas voluntary work in India and West Timor. A fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is the only government recognised training program for Specialist Plastic Surgeons in Australia and is highly competitive. The overseeing Society is the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and only qualified surgeons are listed in the member directory. A three month cooling off period applies for all patients under the age of 18 who are consenting to a major cosmetic surgical procedure. He went on to complete his basic general surgical training qualifications in 2005, attained a Masters of Surgery Degree at the University of Adelaide in 2009, and went on to pursue advanced surgical training in ENT.
