Childless not by choice
I know that I am not alone out there. That there are women who have been in my situation and lived through it. So I joined another site called "Childless not by choice" and it is amasing how many people have been struggling and continue to struggle with infertility and waiting for adoptions.
The site has given me strenght and some peace. That I can take control over my life and not be ruled by the obsession of being a parent. I am now uncertain about adoption. Reading a case study about a birth father who wanted to raise their child only to have the birth mother create an adoption plan. Since the baby was adopted out of state, the rules and laws were different. He had 20 days to contest the adoption from the time the baby was born, however it took him 30 days to find out where she was. This is so unfair...unfair to the child, to the birth father and to the adoptive parents. It is a no win situation. When she grows up and finds out about her adoption will she be scarred? angry? etc...
I want to be strong through out this process, but there is always doubt that lingers. I am hoping that this last round of IF stuff proves positive and that next year we will be holding our little one in our arms.
