I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and educators to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong. At Community Kids, we work closely with our families to enhance children’s development and ignite their passion for learning. We operate over 70 childcare and early learning centres, providing long day care and Government-approved Kindergarten and Preschool programs. Although we offer both childcare and kindergarten in our centres, the two are different. We offer childcare for children aged from 6 weeks old for families who require care for their children. While we offer educational programs to younger children, our 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs offer a structured approach to the children’s education.
The Early Years Learning Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning. At Little Stars Pakenham, we recognize the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development. Every child’s journey is overseen by accredited, friendly, caring, and attentive educators. Our carers foster inclusivity and create a space where each child can learn, play, develop, and participate in a way that reflects their unique strengths and interests.

Any questions or concerns are always handled with kindness and efficiency, which gives us complete peace of mind. We believe every child has the right to high-quality early education in an environment that supports their health, safety, and wellbeing. Our team holds high expectations for children, educators, and our service, ensuring excellence in care and learning. Our early learning program integrated within long day care helps toddlers develop emotional, physical and cognitive skills through fun play-based activities. We employ educators and caregivers who are trained and qualified in child development. Our family day care service maintains a  student to teacher ratio to ensure that every child gets more attention and supervisions.
Thoughtfully designed with children in mind, our unique environments offer childcare that inspires and nurtures. It’s common for a child to experience separation anxiety when they first start child care. When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment.
