children
I always thought if I had my own bio children that would help with the feelings of being alone. It did help but in retrospect I feel I may have put too much pressure on my children to help me (inadvertently). I have 4 children and they are all grown now. I also am blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren. I came from an alcoholic family. there was years of physical and mental abuse all through growing up. My children tell me today that they always felt loved and treasured while growing up. I have found out that I have 7 half brother's and sisters on my bio dad's side and 4 half brother and sister's on bio moms side. bio mom and her children don't want anything to do with me. I fb with some of my bio dad's children. he is a registered sex offender. he abused some of his own children. I am enjoying getting to know half siblings. there is so much more to say. I found out I was adopted when I was 8 years old. I accidently called my dad uncle dad unknowing that he was my uncle dad. he was my blood uncle but adopted father. he was hurt thinking I did this on purpose and would not talk to me. my adopted mother told me my father was mad at me because I called him uncle dad. I was very upset that I hurt him and the fact I just found out this family was not my own. after being told this adoption info my whole life changed. I was an outsider in my own family. cousins started saying I wasn't really part of the family cause I was adopted. any time I was not a perfect child my adopted mother would threaten to send me back to my bio mother.
not sure what else to say right now
