We recently transferred our son to Creative Gardens Pakenham, and it’s been the best decision we’ve made for his growth and development. He has delayed speech and some behavioral challenges, and we weren’t getting the support he needed at his previous centre.From day one, the team at Creative Gardens has been incredibly supportive and welcoming. Nikki and Saumya, the lead educators, made the transition so smooth our son settled in faster and better than we ever expected. Their initiative and care really stood out.What I truly appreciate is how this centre sees and supports each child as an individual. The educators have done an amazing job throughout the whole entire five years at the Centre. And when there is an issue, they try their best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
We ensure families feel informed, involved, and confident in their child’s early learning journey. They want to learn and explore, which is why we teach through play-based learning. It supports language, motor skills, memory, emotions and social relationships. Educators plan play-based learning experiences based on children’s interests and goals. Our toddler room is set up with intentional play-based learning in mind. Within the curriculum framework, play enables your toddler to develop fundamental skills for life-long learning.
As a full time working mother it’s hard to put your children in care full time however I never feel uneasy taking them to PICO. An example of how homely this centre is, my son refers to a staff member as “Nanny Annie”.Couldn’t recommend PICO enough. We offer a structured kindergarten program that prepares children for primary school by fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Our educators use play-based and inquiry-driven teaching methods to support each child’s natural curiosity and learning journey.
Enrolling my LO in Storyhouse was one the best decisions that I have made so far. Fees for Pico Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten may vary based childcare subsidy eligibility. You may be eligible to a rebate of up to 85% of your childcare fees.
The centre has clear and easy to follow parent and guardian information. It also provides updates through the year on child activities and centre events. The focus of the Nursery Program is to provide warmth, love, and security. Educators work closely with families to make sure that little ones receive the care and support they need to thrive, giving you total peace of mind. Tanya and Goldie are very professional and took care of our daughters needs with exceptional care. Before Carly sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Carly takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Carly improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!).
At ELJ, our music program helps children develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through interactive musical activities. Our Art Program at Inspire Early Learning Journey Pakenham encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression through hands-on artistic experiences. Children explore a variety of materials and techniques, developing fine motor skills, confidence, and creative thinking. The program values the creative process, supporting children to express ideas, emotions, and cultural understanding in meaningful ways. Our purpose-built Pakenham daycare and childcare campus welcomes up to 90 children, from 6 months to 6 years of age.
While painting, Nick is learning how to express himself creatively and how to convey his ideas and emotions. Painting is also helping develop Nick’s hand eye coordination, finger, wrist and hand strength. Jesse and some of her nursery friends enjoy some story time and songs outside in the shaded garden. Many of our Children go on to attend local schools such as Pakenham Hills Primary School and Pakenham Primary school, supporting a smooth transition to school.
