Chicken Man

Several months ago my brother, whose wife breeds bantams , thought it would be nice if we had a chicken so he delivered, while we were out, two bantam roosters. Now, I know this much...roosters don't lay eggs.
What I didn't realse was that the crowing would begin before the sun rose.
One disappeared, probably a fox... they are free range and can come and go as they please, which has included at times, wondering into the house and perching on the top of the dresser.
But the one remaining refuses to die, crows with an enormous, raucous noise every morning and has started menacing the two cats who treat it with a mixture of disdain and disbelief.
I have named him Tony Abbot , after the leader of the oppostion party, because he makes a lot of noise but has nothing remotely useful worth listening to.
There he goes now.   #&*@#%

Do you still think it is nice to have roosters? You have your own personal alarm clock. You do not even have to set it. LOL!
