Cheering Myself Up
Its day 4 of my 4 days off work due to my sore foot. My foot doesnt feel any better which is frustrating and annoying, and a wee bit scary too. Dr hypothesized that it was caused by lithium as my level is a bit high. She wanys me to get a blood test done on Wednesday or Thursday...but Thursday I see Lisa at 10-11. Wednesday I am going into town at 10.45 to meet up with my previous Mind & Body Peer Support Worker and another of her clients. I guess I can take my lithium on the train and go to get blood test at 10 to give plenty of time before bus. I can shout Ivan a coffee in the meantime.
My money is a bit tight with extra expenses-Drx2 and power shake(meant to up my metabolic rate), Arnie insulin, Bryan's tobacco... Im surprised actually that I have any money left at all! I really want to save $200 pw for the foreseeable future. If I get a pay increase it will give me a bit more disposable dough.
I feel OK about not doing the Artist's Way-I'm OK just being me. And I do write just for a very small audience! Perhaps I need a blog! Expand my wings a bit.
Not sure what we are going to do today-just spend some time DSing and read my Robert heinlein book the Puppet Masters- or find a book of Ivans on positive Thinking.
Authors of Positive Living books tend to think that everyone is a frustrated artist but maybe this is not actually true. Just cos they live to write they think everyone wants to. I really want to be happy just being me. (minus the warts)(Recently had a warty type growth zapped but it still shows up as a bit of a blip)(Damn) I just want to feel lighthearted and happy in my skin. And why not. Surely we are meant to be happy. Appreciating life and enjoying the consciousness we experience in the moment. Simple as that.
What else is new? No sign of Bryan's tobacco being shipped as yet. Mine should arrive this week. I hope his gets there soon.
He has paid me $10 off his bill, which is a good sign-500 weeks @$10! 10 years nearly! It's so much easier to spend than save!
I look forward to saving $14,820 per year. With more from interest. Yippee.
All I need to spend on me is a few clothes and the odd coffee. Should be able to do this very straightforwardly.
I wish someone would ome online to chat with...Just got Nobody666 and he's away. He is very interesting with his animal surveillance business.
I feel good just being me-happy in my skin.
