Checkmate

Checkmate! I lose to a game that I am not skilled at. It takes so much skill to think of the next move. I play the pawns one by one and lose them all. I find my knight is not shinning and is taken hostage. I protect my royal family arranging my pieces carefully. But I am exposed to the truth that I am not good at this game. I pretend I know what I am doing. I pretend that I am not scared and vulnerable to the feeling of defeat. Checkmate! Do I play again, or do I give up? My odds are that I will give up and never learn to become better; A better player, a winner.
