FLORIDA is one of the most expensive places to buy a car. forgot that part. caught this just in time. we were going to look at 2011 camrys that are only $9000, but that is from a dealer, that means its another $999 on top of the $9000. wth happened to florida. so many things here that i don\'t remember existing a long time ago. grrrrr. really need to think this through.
test drove a pick up yesterday. hmmmm. just don\'t think i\'ll ever be a \"truck person\" even though its practical and totally accepted here and i know it.
yay oregon and alaska and hawaii for being cheap places to buy a car. soooo if i go to any of these places and buy a car and drive it back here, is that a smarter way to do thing? new hampshire is on the list, its not too far, OR is the price inflated already to make up for the cheap fees? how does this go?
I have not a clue as to what it costs to buy a car. I simply have never been able to afford one, with insurance, gas and upkeep. Bicycle bus or walking works better for me. But having a car does have its advantages. Wonder why Florida is one of the most expensive?.. & greenies & hugs hon
Yippee! I live in Oregon! I didn\'t know cars were cheaper here though. Yippee. heehee.
Also keep in mind the value of your trade in vehicle. Iowa is not an inspection state, so used cars are worth more as trade-ins than they are in PA, which is an inspection state. My mom had a Cavalier, one year older than mine, but in much better condition (I had to replace my front seat with one from salvage). She got $500 for hers in PA, I got $2200 for mine in Iowa. And because I got mine in Iowa, I could get extra undercoating and things like that which aren\'t allowed in PA. Lots of things to consider!
i actually have cousins in oregon. they say \"brothers\" almost is, but they are cousins. wonder if i should ask them to pick up a car and drive it over, they aren\'t in florida much and they normally fly. they used to live in pensacola as kids. they aren\'t fans of florida. the tax here is high and i know there are impound fees. i had forgotten all about that stuff.
how much would it cost to drive to new hampshire and buy a car? wonder how that works?
