Charlottesville vacation

Well I took a week's vacation,  I took Amtrak to Charlottesville.  They had a transit system (called the CAT)  So I took that when I went into town. It was free.   I did have to use a Lyft ride one day to get to Monticello, President Thomas Jefferson's home.  I am not sure why they don't have a bus or trolley out there.  I took the Trolley to the Univ of VA, that was a great site.  I visited the Rotunda and took a tour of the campus.   It is a big school.  Thomas Jefferson had it built.
