Charles Schultz Philosophy

I thought this was really good and worth sharing before I write a short entry at the end.  If you want to see the original page I got this from click on the title just below.  I linked it.

Charles Schultz Philosophy The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz , the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point. 1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world . 2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners. 3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America Contest. 4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize. 5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress. 6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners. How did you do? The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. They are not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners. Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one: 1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school... 2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time. 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile. 4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special. 5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with. Easier? I love this! The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who care. Share this with those who have made a difference in your life. I just did! "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today.
It's already tomorrow in Australia ..."

I thought that was really good and just had to share it.

Today has been an okay day but I seriously don't know why it's been such a sluggish one.  No get-up-and-go at all.

I stayed up late talking to my nephew, then there is the fact the time changed so we lost an hour, and that I slept in.  Woke up with a sore back and a headache...man if I'm gonna wake up feeling like I'm hungover could I at least have the satisfaction of having a few drinks the night before...anyway.  Not that I encourage irresponsible drunkeness.

I'm babbling.

I really didn't get much of anything accomplished today.  I managed to drag my butt out of the apartment to Tim Horton's to get a coffee because it was actually less effort then washing a few dishes so I could make my own coffee...pathetic I know.  But seriously I was out and back to my apartment within about 5 minutes and that includes waiting for the traffic lights to change.

I have put a few clean dishes away...need to put away the rest and I should really try to get the dishes done so I have no excuse with the coffee tomorrow.  Cheaper to make it here.

I've mostly just been messing around on the computer all day and laying like a lump on the futon which is pulled out in bed position since my roommate is away for the week housesitting.

I'll try to make tonight an earlier night...like...maybe midnight-ish and hopefully will feel more human and ambitious tomorrow.  I just couldn't seem to push through it today...except to get dressed and go to Tim's.  But mentally I feel okay...not depressed.

The neighbours above me are making a racket...I think if I ever live in a building again and have a choice I'll pick the top floor.  Seriously.
