CHAPTER ONE

I WILL BE TRYING TO PARA=PHRASE MOST OF THIS SO I WONT VIOLATE COPY RIGHTS.
YOU FEEL THE WAY YOU THINK
COGNITIVE:  means the way you think and all the other stuff that goes on in your mind, like dreams, memories, images and thoughts.
BEHAVIOUR:Refers to everything that you do.  What you say, how you act, how you try to solve problems and sometimes what you don't do or say.
THERAPY:  A new way of approaching problems, thought patterns, illnesses, or irregular conidtions.
You may think that if something happens to you, the event will make you feel a certain way.  Such as the last time I disagreed with my doctor, she ignored my protest.  I felt ignored and a little angry.  Yesterday I was very anxious and looking for a fight.  Then I realized that I was making my self anxious with my thoughts.  I realized thinking about our last encounter was usless.  I decided to think possitively about it instead.  I made a list of things that I wanted to tell my doctor and made sure that I kept her attention and she heard me.  Instead of thinking negetively, I tried to think of positive things I could do to make it a better experience.  I changed my thinking.
I hope this helps some of you.  I will continue Chapter One tomorrow.
