Changes (No, not the Tupac song lol)

So I had updated my status awhile back saying that I had finally come to a decision about something and that I was happy about it. I am going to share that with you now. I have felt in the wrong body as far back as I can remember (about 4 years old). I have told my children, co-workers and some friends that I will be transitioning from female to male (ftm). I prefer male pronouns (he/his/him, etc) and I would like to go by the name Christian (Chris for short). The people at work so far are being really good about it. Well, all but one cocky 18 year old boy. My oldest child (16) is working through it better than I expected because she is very judgmental. My youngest (8) has been amazing about it all. She goes back and forth between calling me mom & dad which is fine by me. I told them that they could call me mom for as long as they wanted. I have an appointment with the LGBTQ clinic a couple towns over at the end of December to meet with a doctor to talk about hormone replacement so I am so excited about that! 109 days until that appointment (Yes I'm counting down lol).
