Change is a Natural Part of Life
REMEMBER THAT CHANGE IS A NATURAL PART OF LIFE
Clouds do not stand still; Trees bloom and then shed
their leaves; Tides come to shore, then retreat;
Night follows day, which in turn follows night.
Life is a constant cycle - ever changing - yet never changing,
and we are a part of it all.
We will be here for a time, but only until our time is done.
We have only just so much time to make our mark so that
we are worth remembering.
We should realize that we are as important as the clouds, the tides, and the seasons.
We have our place and must play our part as best we can
in life's ever-unfolding story.

Some days it is very hard to realize that I am over 70, I was married 50 yrs., my husband is gone, and my children are middle-aged. Life goes so quickly, but this is it's design. There is a Kris Kristofferson song that expresses it so well: "...I'm so glad I got to dance with you FOR A MOMENT OF FOREVER." I miss you Frank. You will always be in my heart.

HOW BEAUTIFUL. WE ALL KOW THAT DEATH IS A PART OF LIFE, IT IS NOT UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO YOU THAT YOU TRULY REALIZE THE UNBEARABLE IMPACT OF THAT SIMPLE KNOWLEDGE. I LOVE THE LINE FROM THE SONG. I AM GOING TO PRINT THAT OUT.

I have been thinking of Todd yoday. I wish we could have had 50 years. I just wish. He will be gone 6 mos. on Thusrday, and our 7th anniversary is next week on Thusrday. Time does go by quickly. peace...Kaaren
How very true and beautifully expressed. We\'re here for just the blink of an eye in the grand scheme of life, it just seems like forever while we work through our grief. Hugs, Lottie
It\'s something that has given me some comfort all along - I look at his garden, I look at the trees, and I know that even the sun and the earth will eventually come to an end. Nothing is forever. It doesn\'t make it a lot easier on a personal level, but stepping back and seeing it as part of the whole continuum really does help. Thanks for the thoughtful post.
We always have the things that remind us of our spouses..and the sweet memories...what a beautiful poem...thank you for sharing it with us..
Sometimes lts all we have to cling on too,knowing that life and death goes on all around us,everything is impermenant,nothing lasts forever,this life is so short when you think about lt,the wheel keeps turning,we don,t get off until its our turn.
