Change
This morning, thanks to DS, I woke up (unfortunately )a little more grounded. Being "seen" really has mattered. Thanks to the few who saw me, shared their thoughts and concern. You really made a difference.

Good morning Bluone, I hope your day proves to be bearable today. I am in between projects right now and have a lot of time free today if you need to connect. I am in the UK where it's grey and wet. But the lights are on and I'm in fine form.
It's grey here too. Wintery grey. Snow, slush...Being a prisoner to my recliner is rough, but forearm crutches are supposedly on way. Should help for awhile. But my body is still gonna continue to deteriorate.
Thank you all for all you do. Kinda wasted on me, as I know the inevitable end.
Well you may be a prisoner to your recliner, but you have a good mind I seem to recall 159 and I would like to know more about you. forget the family throw a cloak of invisibility over them for a change. So winter grey with snow I am guessing Mid west Michigan maybe? I am on the south coast of the UK and snow is rare here always rain through the winter. I have the radio on and the news just said the first few years of your life determine how your adult life will go. Ha they pay people to come up with this. I hope the forearm crutches arrive before Christmas. My name is Carolin I have been on DS since 2007.
Ohio actually. My name is Jerry but I go by Jd. I wish I could make my family disappear. It may sound bad but especially my 15 year old daughter who has no concept of reality at all. Christmas doesn't even matter to me. Makes it more depressing.
I was on DS before I think 2008 -2009. It was helpful then. But that was then, this is now.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Hello JD, all I know of Ohio is that Cleveland is the capitol. a 15 year old daughter Mmm I remember my daughter at 15. a surly, selfish and ungrateful young one. But at least she grew out of it, she is 31 now and I am stunned that she has developed into a wonderful young woman. Wish I could see more of her even though she lives just 20 minutes away.
Christmas is not all glitz and charm for everyone, I expect the family treat you like shite but with party hats on.
Do you feel the cold? I have just popped on an extra fleece as sitting for a while at the computer brings on a chill.
Ha ha I am so wrong about the Capital of Ohio it's not Cleveland at all but Columbus.
