Change

I've got to change.  It's going to be hard.  For a very long time I've been getting up at three on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Mostly to get an early start on my weekends to mow my lawn early in the mornings before it gets too hot.  But now, I can't sleep Friday nights.  The usual routine has been to go to the grocery store around four or five Saturday morning and to the laundry around 4:15 Sunday morning.  All so I can get started on the lawn by 6:30 or 7;00.  I've tried having a glass of milk before bed with no results and have now started having a couple of beers with similar results.  Well, Saturdays have turned into nothing days.  I doze off several times during the day and have no energy to do anything when I wake up.  And I feel groggy all day.  While I love the idea of having the grocery to myself that early in the morning, it seems it's not worth ruining the rest of the day.  The new schedule gets me home around ten Friday night with little time to relax before going to bed.  Maybe my system has grudingly given up on any sleep on Friday nights.  The only solution I can come up with is getting up at three on Sunday mornings only.  The grocery store will be busier Saturday mornigns, but, maybe I'll be able o get something done during the rest of Saturday.
