Celebration of James' life
Its was a year ago today, that my friend Jane lost her beautiful son to cancer, he was in the RAF, father of two and was 26yrs old.
Today we are celebrating the life of James by holding a day in honour of his life. At work today everyone could "dress down" instead of business dress, for a £1, a big party tonight, we've sold tickets for £5 each, there will be a raffle and an auction.
Some of the young fellas, have agreed to have waxing done for sponsorship, and Nationwide building society, my employer are doubling what ever we raise.
As of close of business at work today we had raised £988, so hoping £1500 by tonight and with nationwides help, could make in £3000.
All monies raised going to cancer research uk, and Macmillan cancer support.
