It's an awesome sunday! :) Angel friends, i just had to celebrate this day, with a large blueberry iced coffee! :) THIS COOL SUNFLOWER sure does love iced coffee! :) Awww! :) my family and i are enjoying the day, and all of the excitement, of football weekend! :) WOW! :) amazing games so far, and the Broncos vs Colts game just began :) a very special CONGRATULATIONS WISH, for the PATRIOTS, SEAHAWKS, and PACKERS, for advancing to the legendary, CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY next week! :) the AFC, and NFC matchups are becoming all set, and it's going to be classic, next week, watching the teams play, and compete, for a chance, to go to the SUPERBOWL!!! :) the biggest game of the year! :) Championship sunday, is gonna be rocking, rolling, and sweet spirit strolling! :) we're already planning a big party, for next sunday :) We watched the Patriots game yesterday, they had a thrilling comeback victory, coming back, from down 14 points, twice!!! and won the game, in the final seconds, what a game! amazing incredible victory! :) New England is so close to us here, Foxboro, MA, is only about 70 minutes from us, and when the Patriots are in the playoffs, we love to see them do well :) They had such a great victory, and will be hosting the AFC title game next week, it's gonna be so awesome! :) the Seahawks, will be hosting the NFC title game :) this is so exciting! :) it's a football fan's dream come true, great games, and lots of foods, snacks, drinks, and football CHEER! :) We've been watching football today :) i had some baked potatoes, and some soup, for lunch :)it was delicious! :)
MY 8TH ANNIVERSARY HERE ON DS! :) today. i've been taking some wonderful time, to reflect back, upon every year, i've enjoyed here on ds, and all of the many very special friendships made :) DS has opened an amazing door for me, in my healing journey, and also an incredible open door, to meeting friends, from all around the world :) the wonderful joy, of connecting with friends, and sharing our healing journey's, it's very special, and one of my favorite joys, about DS :) Every day, the opportunity, and beautiful chance, to get to greet friends, to meet new friends, and to continue to share :)Whether it's a good day, a rough day, amazing times, rough times, it's so comforting, and uplifting, having DS, to come too, to write, listen, share, and to help :) i've always taken a great joy, in being able to help, whether it's listening, or just sending out some hugs, messages, writing in my journal, or sharing pictures to share :) i've experienced many firsts, here on ds :)
i remember it like it was yesterday, when i first joined :) i remember, i was wanting to do more, wanting to overcome shyness, and social anxiety :) i had struggled with OCD, for about 4 years, leading up to my signing up, on ds. i remember in 2006, i was on the myocd.org site, and got invited, to DS, in early 2007 :) i remember signing up, and got greeted by Doug (original creator of DS), i also was instantly greeted by friends too :) i didn't write much back then, i was browsing around the site, it was amazing, that first few weeks, and months on the site :) it kinda felt like, a big gathering, it was like, returning to school, after a summer vacation, and meeting new friends, it was so exciting, and i remember, writing a little bit, about some struggles i was going through, including depression, and how i wanted to go out more, be more active in my days, my life, and being more out-going :) when i joined ds, i was still very deeply, into my shyness, social anxiety, to the point where i was super shy, around my own family. as January 2007 went on, i began to build up some spirit momentum, i remember wanting to go out, into a store, for the first time in 4 years :) i hadn't been in a store, since 2003, and i remember, February 10th, 2007, i went to the supercenter, and it was so thrilling, that day, i remember, being nervous, anxious, excited, and just felt like, it was the beginning, of a new journey :) it was the beginning, of my exposure therapy, that has lead me, to where i am today :) This amazing path, lead by family and friends :)
when i began to go into stores, each week, more and more, i was writing about the experiences, and began to really, really get more into my writings :) i wanted to write it, from my perspective, everything i saw, everything i felt, i wanted to bring everyone, right there with me in spirit :) i not only went out, for myself, to make progress, i also went out, to also be with my family, and i also wanted to help, others, who experience shyness, and social anxiety, to give hope, strength, to give everyone who felt held back, by shyness, and anxiety, i wanted to give them a glimpse, of what was possible, if we just put forth, some spirit, strength, energy, into going out, no matter how it went, it was a positive experience :) i did have some very rough times early on, i got really deep into the experiences, the anxiety did get bad at times, and i did need to take a step back from going out so often, but i kept on and on, expanding the amount of time, i went into stores, and eventually, began to gain more momentum, over shyness, over social anxiety, it's grip it once had upon me, was loosening, it was like, running a mile, and being tired, and you saw that finish line, the freedom, to make it past that shyness, anxiety, the experiences, and to share in, celebrating accomplishment made, it was a thrilling feeling, and i just got more and more into it, pushing the cart around the supercenter, for an hour, knowing, i would face social situations, making contact, saying, "hi, or excuse me", each step, is a positive one :) it's helped lead me, to where i am today :) i would do it all again, if i had too :) DS has helped me, with the wonderful friendships shared, and has helped me to be more open, with sharing with my family too :) i'm definitely more out-going, i'm less shy, and i'm less anxious now, in social situations :) i'm proud of how far i've come :)
So many wonderful things, have developed over the years too, here on ds :) Sharing Gardening Seasons, SUNFLOWERS blossoming, baking friday's, nature walks shared, birthday's celebrated, season's shared, and lots more :) i love to help, i love to be able to make a positive impact, and can feel the love, in my heart, each and every day :) every time i visit DS, i feel like a big hug filled with love, is hugging my heart :) it's a wonderful feeling, that i enjoy so very much :) i'm very passionate, about my writings, connecting with friends, corresponding with friends, all around the world, online, through the mail, email, phone texts/calls :) it's incredible, and i love it so very much, with all of the amazing joy, and love of my heart, spirit, and soul :) it's a comfort too, DS, and how if we're having a rough day, being able to sign on, and writing to friends, it can be so wonderfully comforting, and uplifting :) to, 8 years here on ds, and many more, CHEERS!!! :)
We're enjoying a wonderful sunday, and a great weekend :) it's been a very exciting weekend, with all of the football games :) The Broncos vs Colts game just started :) i'll be looking forward to Championship sunday, all week :) it's gonna be an awesome week, leading up to the big games next sunday :) i'm very excited, about lots of wonderful things :) i've been enjoying a very special time, celebrating my 8th anniversary here on ds, with everyone :) Enjoying time with family, friends, and enjoying the games :) This upcoming week, i'm going to enjoy some nature walks, sweet treats tuesday, writing, going to the post office on super wednesday, ghost hunters party, and lots more, that will lead us into a wonderful celebration on friday, celebrating my mom's and dad's 50th Anniversary, and baking friday :) Life is very special, and precious :) each day, is a beautiful gift, treasure, and blessing :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are incredible friends, and always have a very special place, in our hearts :) We deeply appreciate everything you do for us, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY DS HUG! :) This evening, and tonight, i'm going to watch football, having some snacks. :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)

These are, the sunflowers of 2007, my first year and gardening season shared on ds :) This year, we grew Sunflowers, of hope and unfailing faith. :) A sunny season, that blossomed beautiful memories in our hearts :) i remember making this picture collage :) Sunflowers, are a lot like people :) both, need love, care, support, and guidance, as they grow, in the garden, and in the garden of life :) sometimes, there's a storm, that can make the sunflowers bend, with the wind, but like us, in life, when we experience stormy days, and times, that become rough, with a little love, support, and guidance, we stand strong, tall and proudly, like a sunflower, and smile at the sun :) Where there's a Sunflower, there's a smile :)
Memories! :) i've had some incredible experiences over the years, overcoming shyness, and social anxiety, to the point where i've been able to go out more :) it's amazing, how far i've been able to come, with everyone's wonderful love, care, support, guidance, and encouragement :) i feel like a sunflower, that continues to blossom :) i'm very blessed, and thankful :) Some of my favorite moments, blossoming out there, with you all with me in spirit :)
This picture, was taken in the Big Mall, December 15th, 2007 :) It was the day we rocked it, with a big day of holiday shopping :) Going to the supercenter, the big mall, and the benny's store :) i remember this day, very well :) i hadn't been in the mall, in 15 years, and here i was, in the mall, during holidays, the heart of the season, i was there, and i was spirit soaring! :) an experience, i'll always and forever remember :) Hope, and unfailing faith :)
