Celebrate "In the Light"

 Epiphany in Greek means “In the light” or to “appear." This joyous holiday is also named “little Christmas.” The story goes, according to the gospel of Matthew, that wise men from the east traveled from afar following the bright light of a rising star, known as the star of Bethlehem, on a journey to pay homage to the new born Christ child and his family and offer their gifts.
It’s a beautiful ancient story that continues to have meaning right here and right now. For folks living in the northern hemisphere, the dark days of winter begin to fade and make way for the light. Like the Magi wisemen we look to the path and the days ahead that illuminate our future.  And, we look inwards to the unique gifts that each of us possesses that can benefit our collective world. Like a newborn child our magical future is waiting to be revealed, ready to shine.
As you embark on this New Year ask yourself this question: ”Are you ready to offer up your gifts to the world?”

Find a quiet spot and listen to the world around you
Let it speak to you in silence
Let your breath relax
Feel free

Have the sun warm your face and hands
Close your eyes and feel the light warm you
Surrender to the feeling of being embraced by the light
Do nothing

Step 3:
Enjoy the energy you receive
Go with it
Soak up the light and peacefulness around you
Feast in the epiphany of light and love that surrounds you…
