Celebrating

Chris and I spent today driving around our soon to be new town and looking at houses. We decided we better stop looking since we won't be moving for 9-12 months but we did see quite a few houses that we liked. We had planned on going out to dinner for our anniversary (6 years today) but I had a horrible headache and ended up getting sick. Luckily, I caught it early enough so it wasn't a full-blown migraine. After a nap and cleaning out the system I feel much better. We will have to go out tomorrow night to celebrate.
I received my meds yesterday and decided to compare last months receipt to this months receipt and it is a good thing I did. The last two orders they applied my insurance to the medication that would be covered (antibiotics and progeseterone) but this month they didn't. My progesterone last month was $15 this month $150. Needless to say I picked up the phone and called them immediately. It was their error so they will be going through my whole order to make sure everything is charged correctly. I have a new medication Cetrotide. Has anyone taken this before? I have to take the whole shot and it appears to be a lot more 'liquid' then the other shots I have taken before. I can't believe this is the third time and I'm getting scared to do a shot. I'm sure it will be fine but the unknown is what is scary.
Finally, I read bonitabailey's journal regarding keeping a journal in the event you have another cycle you can go back and see what you were feeling, ultrasound results, etc. I think that is a great suggestion and I started thinking about my two previous cycles and then a conversation with my DH popped into my head and I started to laugh and thought who needs to keep a journal when we have DH to remind us of our emotions and pains from previous cycles??!?! Our conversation in June....
Me: "I don't remember feeling so bloated and uncomfortable last time." DH: "I do". Me: "What do you mean?" (Should have known at this point I probably wouldn't want to hear the answer) DH: "Well you complained all the time how miserable you were." ME:"I did?" DH: "YES, you did." At this point it is a defining moment A-take the high road and end conversation B-tell him what I really think. Since I earlier commented about us celebrating our anniversary you are correct that I took the high road but I REALLY wanted to tell him what I was thinking!! You want to know what I was really thinking?!?!? Please remember that I was not thinking with a clear mind I was slightly hormonal! I really wanted to say "I'm so sorry that my experience is painful, emotional, and chaotic. I really wish all I had to do was go sit in a recliner with porn and a cup but no sir-e! Lucky me gets violated ever other day by a doctor not even willing to buy me a drink before shoving a probe up my ying-yang trying to find my ovaries which always seem to be shy. Not the most comfortable thing when you already feel like your ovaries are going to rupture and then you have a probe being pushed on them. Oh it is so enjoyable. Maybe I should recommend them putting HGTV into the rooms so at least I have something to watch and entertain me. :) I do love my husband dearly but sometimes men are clueless. Bless their souls!
