Celebration!

I was just watching the FA cup final.  This is the English Football Association (soccer association).  It was such a celebration.  It was as if people are going there to have the time of their lives.  It was remarkable.  It wasn't like the winning team won it is as if the winning team celebrated something they wanted all their lives.  The commentator was saying how every boy in England looks forward to the time they raise the cup and it was just that.  The players went up to the podium and they were not afraid from the fans and were shaking hands with everyone and huging everyone. It was truly a happy occassion for everyone.  No one had any regrets. Everyone celebrated.  It reminded me of Easter.  Growing up it was a very joyous occassion and everyone was happy.
I didn't see that when I lived in North America.  In NA players who win seem more defiant than celebrting. Also the fans seem like they are watching a show more than being part of the celebration.  It is less personal in NA than it is in England and it shows.
It is truly remarbale to watch.  It put a smile on my face.
