CD 12 Ultrasound Follicle Check

This morning I went in early for my CD12 Ultrasound follicle check. If you've read my other journals, you know this is my first round of clomid+IUI. My cycles are semi-regular between 29-35 days. I know on clomid you're supposed to have a 28 day cycle and ovulate around CD14, but last month I went in for a post coital and a ultrasound on CD19 and had one 18mm mature follicle, and ovulated on CD20/21. So, I knew going in for a CD12 ultrasound may be too early to check! So I went in there not expecting them to be mature yet. And ... I was right. Here's what they said during today's appointment:
CD12 - Had 7 follicles on the RIGHT ovary, most measuring around 10mm, one at 12.5mm. Had 8 follicles on the LEFT, all less than or around 10mm. Uterine lining low, only 4mm. Going to continue to take Estradiol to help increase my lining. They said that it usually gets thicker throughout your cycle, so hopefully it'll get thicker ... they like to see it at least 8mm, it's still a little early in my cycle. 
They said that it's not uncommon to have that many follicles ... usually one dominates and takes over. The risk with clomid is that several follicles could dominate and create multiple mature follicles .. which I'm actually hoping for, so we have better chances! My husband and I discussed and we would both be content having multiples (ideally only 2 and no more).
Anyway ... so I have another ultrasound appointment scheduled for Monday morning (CD15) at 7:45AM for another follicle check! They said follicles typically grow 2cm a day, so by Monday, they should be closer to being mature!
