catching up

I know I haven't been able to get to all the hugs that I so desperately want to give you all lately.  We are shorthanded at work and the workload is heavy right now.  I know by your journals that each of us is facing the fact that Mother's Day is going to happen whether we want it to or not.  Mother's Day is the 11th and on the 21st is Clinton's 1st angel anniversary.  Can it really be a year since I have spoken with him and heard him tell me he loves me?!  I struggle each day with the reality of what has happened in my life and how to deal with it.  I hate it that we are all having to face these things but I am so thankful for your encouraging words, your love, your sharing your experiences with me.  It is good to know that I am not alone in this, even though I hate it that anyone else would ever have to go through something this horrific.  I just want you all to know that I love each and every one of you and that you truly are my handle on sanity.  You are all in my prayers every day.  I am sending a HUGE corporate hug to all of you and hopefully will be able to get back to individual hugs real soon.....lots of love and hugs...Lynn

Lynn...I love the corporate hug...lol! It is so hard to believe that will be a year (for Alex...the 18th). Your words ring so true to me as well...the reality! I will tell you a word that keeps popping in my head the last few days about the grief that goes with loosing a child and that is...relentless. This grief will not let go! You CAN have good day and you can exist...but up and down...and on and on. I too am so glad to know that there are other people that understand this sorrow...even though I wish no one could know. You take care...what do you do that it is so busy? Love you girl...Karen
