Case Closed!
Well, I got the official letter from DCF that my case is closed! That's the good news. The bad (?) news is that DH had opened the letter...but he'd just left it for me to read; no questions, nothing. So maybe he thought this was connected with the psych visit? Who knows...All I know is: I won't open that can of worms if I don't have to! It's over!
As a "nit" though, I'm not crazy about him opening my mail. I only open his if I know it's a bill that I'll have to pay (like the phone or electricity). Even my good friend thought it's kind of odd that he does that.
Other news: I'm checking things off the to-do list, although I didn't talk with my son on Saturday when we had specifically planned to do so! But that's both our faults. Not a rush, though.
The weather has been up & down: snow one day, 50 degrees the next! The only constant is mud--yuck! Eventually, it'll get warmer & I'll need to think about the garden. DH asked what I wanted to plant. Not sure yet. I wish we could grow peas, but they always die. Maybe we'll just make a trip to Home Depot & see what looks interesting to try.
Today, my back is absolutely killing me. It feels like I've pulled something. I just hope it heals quickly, because it does interfere with my exercising.

The birds enjoy our cherry tree--they\'re able to reach more than I can!
