Carters Birth story

Well it was 2.2.12  we had been at the hospital over night for an early morning induction. They started my meds at 7:30 a.m.  Things were moving slowly, but with progression.  After upping the induction meds many times, at around 4:00 p.m. things started looking up.  I mean I was basically resting all day due to having an epidural.  At 4:28 p.m. Carter was born after pushing for just 13 minutes. Our daughters were there for the birth.  They both cried rivers. It was amazing.  He was beautiful from the start.  He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz.  And was 21 inches long.   I started breast feeding right away, and he was a champ.  I had to figure out how to get him to latch on a couple times at first, but it was a learning experience for the both of us.  And we did it with success.  Since we came home it has been wonderful.  We had a few nights that were a struggle, but that is to be expected.  Carter does not fuss much at all.  He is overall a GREAT baby.  He sleeps , eats, and repeats that all over again.. LOL..  He is now 2 weeks old, and is very observant.  He focuses on your face when you are talking to him.  He is such a blessing.  I would do this all over again..For sure!!!!  I cant wait for the many adventures we have ahead with our little man.  He is everything we expected plus some
