Carey Heavner
My dear little friend Carey is very near death. I passed by her home today and the yard was filled with cars.
Her Dad was coming out the door so I turned my car around and pulled into the drive. I told him I just could not go by without telling him I was praying for the family. He said I just had to step out for a minute. He told me that she was having seizures and he had to leave. I told him what an inspiration she was to us. He told me that his pastor told him that there would be many people in heaven that would otherwise be in hell because of little Carey. Her courage has been inspiration to so many. Over 100,000 people have visited her Caring bridge site.
I think I told you earlier a few weeks back that she was having nightmares. Well for the past few days she has been dreaming about heaven. Her mother has said that she is like talking to Jesus. Like she was answering questions. She would say yes and Jesus will you come to get me tonight? She also told about angels flying over her bed! She wanted her mother to not let her little brother who is 3 not to forget her.
Please join me in prayer for this family. I really don't know how they can bear it, no let me say the prayers for the family is what is keeping them going. Her Dad told me that he wanted to ask God when he gets to Heaven why this had to happen!! Dear friends we all expect to die but we never want to go before our children. May God help us all.
My grandaughter just called as I typed this. Carey has gone to be with Jesus. Thank you Lord for her life and what she meant to everyone.
