Career Evaluations
I spent a goodly part of the last two weeks in Houston, attempting to be useful during a family crisis. "Attempting" is the operative word. I think I succeeded in making an ass out of myself far more than of being useful.
I have been a housewife since 1995 when two out-of-control teenaged boys needed my attention far more than the construction job sites I was working. As they matured and began to move on, my husband reached a comfortable middle income and there is no longer a pressing need for a second income. Ya need enough money to live on, but extra is just shark bait. I have kept my resume active through community service, etc., just in case.
There is nothing like a family drama to get you thinking alternatives...
