Cannot Sleep Tonight

It is a rarity, but ( at 4am) I am wide awake and cannot sleep. I chatted for awhile , then the rest of the world did go to sleep. I got a second wind and did not know what to get into. So I turned off the tv and have been listening to music. Lately I am hooked on Ed Sheeran. There is not anything I have heard that I did not like.

My first that brought me to him was Thinking Out LOud. A continuing love story of a couple in it for the long haul.  Then I watched 2 other videos... One is photograph. The video is of Ed as a baby and is about his journey as he grew to his passion to perform.  Another is one he did  dedicate to his beloved Gran when she passed away. all 3 have such a strong message, they bring the tears a flowing

Music can truly touch our hearts  and souls

I do hope you all get some sleep. I plan to as well. Will just have to sleep in a bit tomorrow.

Good night ( or morning. lol)

I too have been up....slept just a bit....my music is from my stereo siriusxm connected home dock.....so I have jazz going mostly but earlier I put on some deep trax rock stuff...but before I climbed into bed flipped back to watercolors jazz....
Well I really do not know the background of Ed Sherhan but have seen him perform on tonight show and other television shows like ellen....ect....he is fascinating singer....does not look like he would be that good but damn he is.....

have you decided to take your week off from grocery store now? I hope you do not need to get into work today and can sleep the afternoon hours....I often did that when I was in a funk place...changed nights and days....it seemed to help....I still flip them on and off of regular hours of sleep now quite often.....hope your sleeping now....

Good vigorous exercise can help you sleep better. With late evening conference calls to the far east can work me up so I have to wind down by doing some reading and sometime's ripping out a bunch of pushups.

Sleep tight Sweetie.

I did sleep for a bit and am off today. I am still going to work the next 2 days (big load days) so the guys can have another day off , but Sunday I will start my time off . At this point just planning a week , but they say I may want to see how things are then. We will see. I really don't want to stay put forever and use all my time , but I still have several weeks if I need them.

Bubba I do look forward to making some time to get that exercise back in again. Is hard when I am up so very early and so exhausted when I get home. (Believe it or not, running around trying to keep things full, unloading and stocking 40 - 50 lb boxes of produce -- first in the cooler- then to the shelves... while double checking and directing the newbies does take a lot out of me. ) Til I relax, I don't want to get back up and moving as I know there is another day from hell coming again the next day.

I seem to do so much better when I start my day fresh and motivated-- is much easier to get the exercise in then. I look forward to it. (Just need to be cautious of the one shoulder right now. )

I have shortened hours. My nerves are on edge but that is nothing new. It is hard to get rest even if you sleep. I pray no one will get too sick with this.
Maybe lots of babies in 8 or 9 months. Wait for the population explosion and see.

I just read about the viralboomers. Some predict the fear will squash that. I for one would be willing to try. Of course I would keep the fact that I had a vasectomy a secret. ‘I don’t know, I guess we should keep trying....’
Kim, I sleep deeply but last night I was up wide awake for hours. I can usually meditate and quiet my mind but it didn’t work last night.
Reading is my go to.
I was in the garden all day so I think tonight will be different. The peepers are singing and that helps too.
Did you ever look up that app Insight Timer? There are some sleeping guides and background music that’s relaxing. It’s free.

Hi Kim
I just read an article about a nut that was coughing on food at a grocery store in PA. They had to dispose $35000 worth. Was that store part of your chain?

(Not that I am aware of.anyway.)
Geez...there are nut balls out there.
