Can you have anxiety and not know what your anxious about
Hi its codymama
I feel allthe time this overall feeling that is not right. I usually don't go in full blown attacks.
Its just an uneasiess way I feel.My husband will ask me what I am anxious about and I will respond with I don't know . He will then say then why are you anxious? Nothing gets my husband anxious or he can hide it very well. Does anyone else feel this way?

YES! It\'s funny because my boyfriend is the same. He\'s the calmest person I\'ve ever come across. I have an uneasy feeling almost all the time. Sometimes I can handle it better than others. Sometimes I start to get more anxious about it because I want it to go away. Theres no immediate cause that I can put my finger on, it just is. I think when you have bad anxiety, since your nerves are kind of shot, you\'re easily set off or just more succeptable to being uncomfortable by minor things you may not even realize are making you uncomfortable. When this happens I try to just see it for what it is and distract myself. I just kind of say \"Okay, I know I\'m nervous, it\'s only the anxiety. Everything is okay around me and it\'ll pass.\" Hope this helped at least a little bit. You\'re definately not alone!
I agree with VioletOctober, and I\'d also like to add something else. I don\'t think hiding feelings of anxiety -- just based on my experience, I don\'t know if I\'m just a freak specimen or something -- is a good idea. If I suppress my anxiety, it only seems to make matters worse. It will build and then metaphorically explode when it becomes too much to bear.
For longer than I want to admit I hid said anxiety because I wasn\'t comfortable mentioning it.
I talk about my anxiety a lot. Probably too much for my husband and mother, but I cant keep it inside me. I would like to calm myself more easily, but sometimes its hard. I am glad I am not alone. Anxiety is nothing to be embarrassed over. We just want to feel better and be ourselves again. I like who I am when I dont feel this way.
